CatspawThe malaise which characterized the end of the first season is still evident here (the first episode shot for season 2). The story is an out-and-out retread of "The Squire of Gothos" only without a charming villain. Special effects are severly limited to simple cuts and the extremely unfortunate witches sequence. Even the marionette sequence at the end is laughable given the obviousness of the strings and slow motion. Knowing that there are better things to follow, this one is forgiveable. It really has no redeeming qualities. Rating: Bottom (6) CommentsA really good ansewr, full of rationality! Posted January 30, 2012 06:54 AM by Melloney Post a Comment |
